Residential Asbestos Pickups
Convenient asbestos waste collection from residential properties — we pick up, wrap, and dispose legally.
About This Service
Already removed asbestos yourself or have asbestos waste from a renovation? Our residential pickup service collects pre-removed asbestos materials from your property. We properly wrap, label, transport, and dispose of all asbestos waste at licensed facilities in full compliance with NSW EPA regulations.
What's Included

When A Pickup Is The Right Service
Not every job needs a removal crew. If you have already taken down a small amount of bonded asbestos lawfully, or sheeting has come loose in a storm, or you have inherited a stack of old fibro sitting behind the garage, what you actually need is for it to be collected and disposed of properly.
This is the service people most often get wrong. Asbestos cannot go in a household bin, a council clean-up, or a hired skip. Tipping it at an ordinary waste facility is not an option either — it has to go to a landfill specifically licensed by the NSW EPA to accept asbestos.
We collect from residential properties across Sydney, wrap and seal the material to the required standard, and dispose of it lawfully.
How To Prepare Material For Collection
If the material is already down and you are waiting on collection, leave it where it is and keep it damp and covered rather than moving it repeatedly. Every handling is another chance to release fibres.
Do not break sheets down to make them easier to carry. Whole sheets are safer than broken ones and easier for us to wrap. Do not sweep up debris with a household broom or vacuum — a domestic vacuum will push fibres straight back into the air.
Tell us roughly how much there is and what form it is in when you call, and we will bring the right wrapping and the right vehicle.
What We Collect
Sheeting and offcuts from renovations, storm-damaged roofing and eaves, old fencing panels, vinyl floor tiles lifted during a floor replacement, and material left behind by a previous owner or a previous trade.
If what you have turns out to be larger than a pickup — or if it is friable — we will tell you straight away and quote it as a removal instead. It is a different job with different legal requirements and it is not something to improvise around.
Why It Cannot Just Go In The Bin
The rules around asbestos disposal exist because the risk does not end when the material comes off the building. Broken sheeting in a skip gets tipped, crushed and spread at a facility that is not set up to contain it, and the people handling it have no idea what is in the load.
NSW treats it accordingly. Asbestos waste must be transported and disposed of at a facility licensed by the EPA to receive it, and penalties for illegal dumping run into tens of thousands of dollars for individuals and far more for companies.
That is the whole reason this service exists. The removal is often the easy part; disposing of it lawfully is where people come unstuck.
Common Questions
- Can I put asbestos in a skip bin?
- No. Asbestos cannot go in a standard skip, a household bin or a council clean-up. It must be wrapped, sealed and taken to a landfill licensed by the NSW EPA to accept asbestos waste. Illegal disposal carries substantial fines.
- How should I store asbestos sheets until pickup?
- Leave them flat and undisturbed in a spot nobody needs to walk through, keep them damp rather than dry, and cover them with heavy plastic weighted down. Do not break them up and do not stack and restack them.
- Do you pick up small amounts?
- Yes. A pickup exists precisely for the quantities that do not justify a full removal crew — a few sheets from a renovation, a storm-damaged eave, an old fence panel.
- What does an asbestos pickup cost?
- It depends on volume, location and how the material has been stored. Call 0449 960 184 with a rough idea of what you have and we will give you a fixed price.
