Asbestos Removal Gosford

The Central Coast, including Gosford, experienced significant residential development in the post-war period using asbestos cement products. Many of these homes are now being renovated or demolished, creating demand for professional asbestos removal services.

Our team services the entire Central Coast region, from Gosford to Wyong, providing residential and commercial asbestos removal with the same high standards we maintain across Sydney.

Gosford and the surrounding Central Coast suburbs have a large stock of fibro holiday cottages and modest post-war homes, many of which were extended by their owners over the years. Asbestos turns up in external cladding, in enclosed verandahs and sleepouts, in bathroom and laundry sheeting, in the linings of boat sheds and garages, and in the flat sheet used for water tank stands and under-house enclosures on the sloping blocks common through the area.

Waterfront and low-lying properties add their own problems. Damp, flood and storm exposure degrade asbestos cement faster, and material that has been wet, mouldy or partly broken needs to be removed rather than patched. We work across Gosford and the wider Central Coast, and where a property is only used part of the year we can arrange access, complete the work and send through photographs and documentation without the owner needing to travel up for the job.

Anyone buying an older Central Coast home should have the asbestos question answered before settlement, not after. A building inspection will often note suspected asbestos without confirming it or costing its removal, which leaves the buyer guessing. We can inspect a property, identify what is there and quote the removal so the cost is known before contracts are exchanged, and the work can be scheduled for the window between settlement and moving in.
