Asbestos Removal Penrith

Penrith and the surrounding Western Sydney suburbs contain extensive post-war housing built with asbestos cement products. As these homes age and renovation activity increases, professional asbestos removal becomes increasingly important.

Our team services the entire Penrith region, providing residential and commercial asbestos removal with competitive pricing and full compliance with SafeWork NSW requirements.

Penrith homes built from the 1950s through to the early 1980s commonly have asbestos in eaves and gable ends, in bathroom and laundry sheeting, in garage and shed walls and roofs, and in the flat sheet used for fences and under-house enclosures. Brick veneer houses are not exempt: the brick is only the outer skin, and the eaves, wet-area linings and outbuildings from that period are frequently asbestos cement even when the walls are not.

Larger blocks on the western edge of Penrith bring bigger structures into the job, including workshops, farm sheds, stables and long runs of fencing. We quote these on inspection, because sheet count, height, access for machinery and the distance to a licensed disposal facility all change the price. Where a structure is being demolished rather than repaired, the asbestos comes out first and the rest of the demolition follows, which is both safer and cheaper than treating the whole structure as contaminated.

Transport and disposal are regulated as tightly as removal. Asbestos waste has to be wrapped, labelled, carried in a covered load and delivered to a facility licensed to receive it, with records kept of where it went. We handle all of it as part of the job and provide the receipts, so a Penrith owner is never left with wrapped sheeting on a trailer and no lawful way to dispose of it.
